Holiday or Break ?

Woohooo, two weeks holiday ! :D 

Wait, I don't qualify for that pfft. 

Mmmhmm, my younger siblings have two weeks off!

& I just sorta started my semester -_-

My break wasn't even enoughhh :( 

Yes it was two weeks too but omg, I've much less holiday now compared to before. 

The longest holiday that I'll ever have in my course is hmm, probably about 2 months? 

Oh well. I guess that's life isn't it? 

Less and less holiday. 

Work so hard for moneh & all the things are so expensive. 

Which reminds me of one line from the Gentleman Parody that DanKhooProductions came up with. 

"Work so much but pay never go up" 

LOL. If you haven't seen the parody, go watch it!

Hahah it's damn funny xD 

Backkk to what I was saying, holidays. 

Hardly getting any now. 

And with the different timings with my besties & beau, sometimes my holidays are just filled with time spent with my bed LOL. 

The last holiday was a great timing because my aunt & uncle came back from Switzerland :D 

Spent some time with them eheh. 

Went up to Cameron Highlands. 

First vacation with aunties & uncles! :D 

& with my cousin! :D 

And my younger cousin :D 

We stayed in a bungalow that has like a nice garden :) 

And we saw some insects :O

Which reminds me of the night that my cousin & I had a battle with an insect in our room. LOL. 

She was talking on the phone with her boyf and suddenly noticed an insect the edge of her bed :O 

IF I remember correctly, she flicked it off the bed and we took a towel and slammed it to the ground! 

Jumped on top of the towel in hopes to squish it :O 

After a while, we took a hanger to slowly lift it to check if it was dead but NO, it was ALIVE :O

Must have been one tough insect man. 

So we unfold the towel to make it thinner so that it would have  more impact when we jump on it or whatever it was that we were planning to do. Lol. 

Used the hanger to chop chop.

Took a chair to stomp on it :/

Shiz, now I feel mean :/

In the end, it was dead & we could sleep in peace. 

Least it was just one insect right? :/ 

Soooo, here are the rest of the insects that were very much alive lol.

So what happens when you have three photographers in the house ?

CREATIVITY. 

Played around with the lights & voila! 

The effect was there lol. 

I swear it was super cold & i was trying so hard not to shiver man. 

You may think that Camerons is not cold anymore but heck, its still damn cold at night!

One of the mornings we went to some Boh plantation place for some view. 

Apparently this is the famous spot for pictures lol. 

My spot for taking pictures? 

LOLOL. 

& that became their spot too lol. 

Moved on to another place to see the oldd watch tower or smth. 

Steep stairs man. Gotta walk sideways to prevent any slips. 

And when we were up there, fuhh super colddd. 

I don't have any pictures with me so haha. 

Another activity that we did was jungle trekking. 

Went to Mossy Jungle. 

It started off with this 

Had a guide with us explaining away on information about this forest :)

And the picture below is one of the plants we saw :D

 And before we know it, we were that high. lol. 

Walked and walked and walked until we reach a part where there isn't a clear path :O

That's when the muddiness came in.

Up and down we went but we still managed to take photos LOL!

After this Mossy jungle, went to another Boh tea place & treated ourselves with some cake & tea :)

& for the rest of the night, it was just sit & chill. 

Nobody does it better than my little cousin :D 

Truly like a boss!! 

And yeahps, my brother still watches Tom & Jerry. HAHA. 

I would watch it too if it was on TV.

Oh the childhood memories :3 

Had so many rounds of Monopoly Deal with the family :) 

I won the most rounds ehehhe ^^\/

And that was how Cameron Highlands went :) 

Had to say goodbye to the weather & the view.

Part two of my holiday was spending the day at Sunway Lagoon. 

Mainly because they have a new ride called "Vuvuzela" & they had a promotion :D

The ride was SO GOOD THAT WE WENT FOR IT OVER AND OVER xD

The tomahawk was scary not because of the ride but because you can hear how old the thing is :O

Out with the Old, In with the New !

Ahh, I just finished watching the old movie, Click.
The movie where there's such thing as a universal remote control.
Works exactly like how you control the TV but this time, you can control real life scenes.
And the moral of the whole story is that we should not take things for granted.
We should learn to appreciate everything in life.
Embrace BOTH the good & the bad :)

Honestly, before this, I had a hard time thinking of how to start this post since I haven't been blogging much.
It's a good thing I sat down and watched a meaningful movie :)
It made me think about the whole of last year & basically just my whole life.
2012 was a great year.
Lots of rough patches in each area respectively.
Learnt a lot from different experiences & I really can't thank God enough for that.
Life is about experience.
Life is about making mistakes, taking risks & learning from it.
That is the true meaning of living.

One of the few highlights of last year was the pageant that I joined.
Miss SE Asia Fitness 2012
I met a lot of great people there and we all had fun together.
Most people have the impression that pageants are all about looking good & knowing how to catwalk and answering questions intellectually.
Well, it ain't about that.
Apart from all the beauty stufflings like knowing your angles, etc etc, it's also about stage presence, networking and bonding with people.
I am one who isn't THAT good on stage. Lol.
I'll become very conscious of my surroundings & that ain't a good thing when you're on stage.
I am happy to say that I'm overcoming it bit by bit :)
I've also learnt how to network & talk to people more.
Somehow growing up in an environment where speaking up to people older than me is not encouraged is responsible for me not speaking much when it comes to adults.
It's good to know that I have gotten that out of my system :)
The rest of the things I learnt are more towards the entertainment world :)
I am thankful for all the great people I met & the things that I learnt :)

All in all, this pageant was a great experience :)

End of the year came & it was time for exams.

Oh, the joy of being a student. 

Exams didn't end till the 21st & didn't start till 14th December, a day after my birthday. 

So.. there goes everything. 

Celebrated it with Andrew on the 13th & Erina and Yen came over to surprise me lol. 

The best gift ever is the Guess bag that he bought me. 

After that, it was time for Christmas already and my, my, this year's Christmas shopping was crazy!

I only had 3 days to shop for everyone ! 

And it did not help that there were other things to be done too. 

I did it anyways. Kudos to me. 

But damn, it was tiring. 

Spent Christmas with the bestie in church :)

It's our tradition to do this & since she's leaving soon, this'll be our last Christmas together :(

If you're wondering why there are no mentions of Andrew, it's because he was busy somewhere else on holiday. Tsk, tsk. 

He only came back on Boxing day & eversince he came back, man we spent a lot of time together for the next few days.

And when he came back, he came back with another 4 members of our made up family lol.

Spent New Year's Eve with a bunch of peeps. 

Was initially planning to celebrate it quietly with just the boy since he said it was significant to us because it was the day that we met. Oh well.

Had fun anyways. Lol.

And the view was amazing!

When the fireworks started firing, damn it was beautiful :)

That was how last year ended!

It's a new year now.

The year of 2013. 

2012 was crazy with 90 degree drops.

All the pain, all the tears, all the craziness & all the laughter.

It was really one heck of a year!

I'd very much love for this year to be less of a pain and less tears. 

Hopefully this year shall be a better year :)

Talks of limiting this blog to only a few people is now gone. 

It shall remain as it is. 

I have way too much to share than to just close it off lol. 

As for the other blog, it shall be up in no time :)

Things are on delay a little because heh, as I've mentioned earlier, been spending time with the boy =P

My plans should be up and running by February. 

I'm really looking forward to the blessings of 2013 despite the tough year ahead with thesis..

Haha, but that's life & life is meant to be lived!

As for resolutions, haha, I always make a list but in the end I won't even remember half of them! 

I actually didn't really make any this year lol. 

Because I realized I don't actually need a resolution to get certain things done lol!

If I were to make a resolution right now, I'd say that this year's resolution is to spend the days of 2013 productively :) 

Another one is to get rid of things that bring me down. 

That's about it. 

No long list nonsense awaits me =P

In Line.

So I came across this video while I was YouTube surfing. 

Resolutions, resolutions. 

What is it that you want to achieve this year ? 

Better grades ? Picking up a new skill ? 

Making a resolution is easy but sticking to it and actually getting to it might be a little tougher than you think. 

Even I myself find it hard to keep to it. 

ONE of it in particular which is to curse less. 

Resolution #11 : Curse less. 

That is so hard to do. 

Even if I don't actually say it out, I say it all the time in my head =/

It's kinda inevitable since the world is surrounded by idiots. 

I shall try to control :D 

Okay so I know I haven't been blogging much. 

Been caught up with living my life & tryna fulfill my resolutions yo. 

I have 15 resolutions! 

Gotten back my muchness now haven't I ? ;)

Woot woot! 

Gonna be signing up for dancing classes with YeeEn in Feb.

Talking about months, JANUARY IS ENDING :O

Soooo fast! 

Academics wise, the time table itself is shit. 

Deciding on how many subjects to take this sem is already a headchade. 

Can you imagine all the things that has to be weighed. 

Ugh, I love my Fridays and I would prefer my Fridays to be free.

But I guess this sem, I'll be going to uni everyday. Sighs. 

Suffer now, enjoy later. 

Gotta constantly motivate myself. Lol.

Moving on to a little update on what happened during Crazy Day :)

Remember how I talked about choosing a day just to let loose ? 

It was successfully done ! :D 

Started out with a random craving satisfaction. 

Complained about the weather and poof! Off we go to Genting! :D

With none other than my 'twin sister' , YeeEn :)

With T-shirts, shorts & slippers, we walked around like bosses ! 

Everyone else was wearing long pants, jackets and etc. xD

On the way up, it drizzled a bit. 

On the way down, it was like going to Heaven =P

Soooo misty hehe. 

Can't wait to go up there next. 

The weather nowadays sooo HOT. 

I won't be surprised if Bikini Day is up next xD

It was a good day. It really was :)
