Neverland #5

Zac is the love of her life.
He's all she can think of.
She'd doddle his name everywhere.
Ever since she met him, all her daydreams were about how both of them would grow old together.
Break times in school would usually be a time for gossips and a million other pointless dramas going on.
Nowadays her conversations are all about Zac.
Even for the most unrelated things, she can somehow tie a string and connect it to Zac.
Some people call it obsession, she calls it love.

Although she's madly into him, she didn't let that cloud her sight.
She is still keeping an eye on what's going on.
There were way too many stories about high school relationships.
Not to mention the changes during the transition from high school to college life.
Being two years older than Ashley, Zac's chosen the pathway of being an architect since he's always been interested in art related stuff.
Ashley has the portrait he drew hung on the wall of her bedroom.
That's the last thing she sees every night before she goes to bed.
She believes that the portrait blocks out negative energy just because she hadn't have any nightmares.
"I'm such a lucky girl", she thought to herself.
Every night, without fail, that very same thought replays itself.
Her sweet thoughts and smile eventually puts her to sleep.

Out and about she went in search for Zac.
She found it weird that she was waiting for a clear road before crossing.
"Ah what does it matter anyway, I'm invisible! Just like a ghost."
With that thought, she just crossed when there was a car speeding towards her.
As the car was nearing, she quickly ran back!
She could still feel the blood pumping.
It didn't make sense to her but she ignored it anyways.
After crossing many roads like a normal human being would, she finally reached her destination ; Zac's campus.

Forgetting that she was invisible she waved at her friends who were in the same campus as Zac.
"Why're they ignoring me? It's like they don't even notice I came. Oh wait, I'm invisible."
It wasn't as fun as she thought it would be.

~ ~ ~

I hate it when my waves are not noticed.
Makes me feel so invisible like  a glass.
Well I guess I can be considered a glass.
I can't believe I am lost right now.
I've been here quite a few times already.
Oh there's the directory.

~ ~ ~

And she was on her way to the lobby.
There he was sitting down in a group chattering away.
With whom, she does not know until she walked a little closer
She was mistaken.
He wasn't a a group.
He was only with a girl.
That girl looked too familiar.
She went up to her face, bent down a little to take a closer look at her.
Kayley. The biggest bitch known amongst schools.
Kayley also has a reputation of  being a boyfriend stealer.
She's one of those spoilt bitches who gets just about anything she wants.
Girls who don't know her want to be like her & guys want to be friends with her.

"You're lucky I'm not physically here or I'll give you a big scar on your fake plastic face"
Her inability to do a thing about what's happening before her eyes left her fuming with anger.
In her mind, there were a million things.
"Wrinkles Ashley, wrinkles", she reminded herself.
Just as she calmed down, she heard her name.

Neverland #4

Being the girl Ashley is, she can't sit still and not do anything.
Every minute counts. At least that's what she tells herself everyday.
On days like these, she'd have lots to do once she wakes up.
Unlike every other family who has a servant, Ashley didn't have one.
It wasn't the case of affordability.
Her parents thought it'd be better if the kids learnt to take care of themselves.
Besides, all of Ashley's siblings are grown up already.
Alex & Alice are twins who are two years older than Ashley.
They'd always keep an aye on her when they're at school.
Good role models, really.
Ashley's family is nothing other than a warm loving family.

Realizing that no one can see her, she instantly got this idea of sticking her nose into everyone else's life.
After all, she's always wanted to witness what different people experience in their daily life.
And the first person she thought of was Zac.
She found him too good to be true.
The way he treats her with such great respect and kindness showed her that good men still do exist.
Nevertheless, she was still skeptical caused by her insecurities and past experience with a boy who cheated on her.
Zac was unbelievably sweet, caring, loving and everything a girl could ever ask for.
It was almost like he came out from a fairytale story like Enchanted.
Just by the thought of him, she can smile like it was the first time they both went on a date.
That sweet memory of hers made her blush like a well bloomed rose.
You can see it sparkling in her eyes.
She was deeply in love with Zac.
Even the depths of the ocean cannot contend with her love for him.

Neverland #3

To die in peace is usually the preferred way of leaving.
Many times, the other ways of leaving includes car crashes and battles against some kind of sickness.
She had the perfect way of leaving but she didn't feel happy at all.
Perhaps there were many things that she wanted to do before leaving planet Earth.
Only now did she realize that time is precious.

She's always been the kind of girl who was somewhat satisfied and content with what she had.
Maybe sometimes she'd feel like the world is an ugly place.
Some days, she'd be bubbly & some days, she'd be gloomy.
Bipolar's what everyone labels her.
But what they don't know is her story.

She finds this world a cruel place with little goodness & ample badness.
All the stories she sees when she picks up the newspaper is about killing, corruption and more.
And maybe that explains why she buries herself with novels where everything has a good ending to it.
Some call it ignorant, some call it stupid but she calls it a sweet escape.
With the aura of good things come positive thinking which will somehow result in her feeling a little happier.

Even she cannot deny that she has always wanted to leave.
But not this early. "Not this early," she thought to herself.

Neverland #2

The sky was lighting up & she was still not in her body.
Without any idea of what to do, she ran to the door and there here hand went.
Through the handle.
It didn't make sense when she thought of walking through the door but in the end, she did.
It was the only way to get out of  her room.
As weird as it felt, she walked right through the door .
Then she thought to herself, "How on earth am I gonna eat when I get hungry?!"
The thought disappeared when she saw a note stuck on her door saying,
"My dear princess Ashley, I delivered breakfast for you . You'll love it, it's your favourite ;) - Zac"
Instantly, she felt his love.
These little things he do for her everyday made her feel special.
It made her feel like she meant the world to him, that he would go the distance for her.

Down the stairs she ran and for the first time, the stairs made no noise.
While running down the stairs, the smell of the breakfast Zac brought over filled her nose & immediately she knew.
He brought her pancakes.
A note was spotted right beside the plate of pancakes and it said,
"P/S: I made this myself ;)"
In all her life, she's never met such a lad as sweet and thoughtful as him.
Never has she ever had a single thing to complain about when it comes to him.

After a while, she stood there with the same question .
"How on earth am I gonna eat?"
She wasn't hungry nor was she thirsty.
So she left it at that but part of her was down because she wanted to eat the pancakes he made her.
She sat down wondering what's going on and couldn't help it but came up with one conclusion.
"I must be dead," she thought to herself.
Unable to move, she just sat there in silence.

Neverland #1

She woke up one morning to find herself staring at her body lying on the bed in peace.
It was an out of body experience and it was her first time.
Lying back down on her own body, she closes her eyes in hopes that what she's experiencing is nothing but a dream.
Just as she almost fell asleep, her phone rang.
It was her beloved boyfriend.

~ ~ ~

He makes time to personally call her to wish her and to wake her up.
Since they both do not have the privilege to wake up to each other everyday, he figured that it would be a good idea.
All he ever wanted was for her to be happy.
Whenever they had the chance to, they'd stay over and he would always be the last to fall asleep and first to wake.
His lullaby was watching her fall asleep ; the rise and fall of her chest, her messy hair over the pillow and her heartbeat that he could feel.
Waking to the very same thing in the morning, makes him happy.
Happy that she's there and she will never leave his side.

~ ~ ~

She jumped out the bed like a ninja and reached for the phone.
She thought she got it but when she reached out for her phone, her hand went right through the phone.
Stunned to her bones, she couldn't make sense of what was happening.
She turned around and saw that her body was still there.
