Gliding Away !

Phew! 

It's been a busy busy month :O

Or maybe I was just busy eating =P

As usual, my plan of gaining weight always fail. 

I ate a lot of snacks during Chinese New Year & it seems that I haven't really gained =/

I haven't weighed myself but it seems to me that I lost a bit instead of gaining. 

It is weird o.o
So anyways, it's really hard to find time to even play badminton weekly now =/

I need more hours in a day! 

Sometimes, honestly, I think that sleep is a major waste of time. 

But let's not go there. lol. 

I hope Chinese New Year treated all of you well!

And for those who are sick, do drink more water & get some sleep ! 

I kinda miss Yee Sang already. Lol. 

Hard to believe that I only started eating it 2 years ago. lol.

Apart from all the CNY snacks, fireworks & Yee Sang, I tried something new this month. 

Gave a shot at acting in DanKhooProductions's short film, titled The Final Gift :)

First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude for having this opportunity to act.

It was definitely something new to me & haha, I know I have areas that I can improve on :)

So if there are any other feedbacks apart from intensifying my emotions on screen, feel free to comment on this post or msg me on FB or say smth in the chatbox :)

Drinks & Hot Weather

In KL, it's always sunny then rainy, sunny then rainy. 

In Langkawi, it's sunny all the way & with cheap alcohol, you won't be able to resist that feeling of nice cold beer down your throat.

ESPECIALLY when you have an AWESOME view & sea breeze =P

Why Langkawi?

Because I just went there about a week ago! 

I wouldn't just go there at the starting of sem just for fun. 

It was a farewell trip for my Bff of 14 years. 

14 long years. 

That is really something. 

Met when we were both 7 and we're still besties till now =3

Kinda sad that she'll be leaving so damn soon but I ain't gonna go into that now or I'll emo LOL.

Soo, Langkawi was a 3D2N ordeal. 

Stayed at Bella Vista Resort & Spa.

It looks very much like a castle from those that you see in fairytales. 

BUT, the housekeeping and shit is shit. 

Reception was fine, breakfast was edible. 

Rooms were nice, we had two floors but the stairs was like shit. 

The living room's air cond wasn't even working. 

If I had a choice I wouldn't go there again. 

What happened in Langkawi was freaking awesome!

Swan with baby sharks & saw one pretty big sized one swimming around lol.

Kinda scary man. 

Those colourful fishes nibbled on my legs :O

Haha kinda screamed a bit =P

Sorta wish he was there with me...

The boy couldn't make it last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.

Sighs, don't even get me started on that. 

I would seriously just get re-pissed. Lol. 

MOVING ON.

Seafood there was freaking awesome & fresh! 

I wasn't satisfied man.

I'm a real fanatic when it comes to seafood. 

I don't mind having it for 3 days straight man. LOL!

Crabs, prawns, lobster, come at me man. 

I'll eat them all!!

This reminds me that I still have a seafood dinner to organise LOL. 

Yumsss. I can drool just thinking of it =P

Overall it was pretty fun hehe :)

When I came back, I've got some probs tryna snap out of holiday mood. 

That vacation just made it harder but now, I'm back! 

A little still in the holiday mood but manageable :)

But eversince I came back from Langkawi, the drinking never really stopped. LOL. 

And this year, particularly this year, I have a feeling that there's gonna be lots to drink. 

Many many people turning 21 this year =P

I bought a mini bottle of Pinky vodka. 

Smells like perfume LOL!

The taste is lovelyy unlike that stupid Absolut Pears. 

That's like shit man. So far the only Absolut that is acceptable is Raspberry.

Haha, anyways that was about a week ago.

As of now, I'm attending classes as usual. 

The only happening thing now is that i have wounds to treat.

Physical wounds.

Something happened & I fell on tar road =/

My wound hurts so bad. 

Affected areas are my arms, thigh & butt. Lol.

Kinda funny that the butt got hurt too.

Haiz. 

The last time I fell was when I was 3 years old. Lol.

So, omg, I had no idea what to do with my wound. 

I knew I had to wash it & put antiseptic cream but that was about it. 

Thank God for my boo who was there to take care of my wounds for me.

He woke up super early this morning & came over just to accompany me till I woke up & clean my wounds 'cause he knew I was scared of it & it was painful.

He was patient with me as I was squiggling like a kid in pain. Lol.

Yeah I'm a cry baby when it comes to things like this. 

He was there throughout the day for me. 

Bought the necessary stuff for my wounds, took me out for lunch, drove me to uni, sat in class with me.

Hehe, I can't deny that it was damn sweet of him =3

Out with the Old, In with the New !

Ahh, I just finished watching the old movie, Click.
The movie where there's such thing as a universal remote control.
Works exactly like how you control the TV but this time, you can control real life scenes.
And the moral of the whole story is that we should not take things for granted.
We should learn to appreciate everything in life.
Embrace BOTH the good & the bad :)

Honestly, before this, I had a hard time thinking of how to start this post since I haven't been blogging much.
It's a good thing I sat down and watched a meaningful movie :)
It made me think about the whole of last year & basically just my whole life.
2012 was a great year.
Lots of rough patches in each area respectively.
Learnt a lot from different experiences & I really can't thank God enough for that.
Life is about experience.
Life is about making mistakes, taking risks & learning from it.
That is the true meaning of living.

One of the few highlights of last year was the pageant that I joined.
Miss SE Asia Fitness 2012
I met a lot of great people there and we all had fun together.
Most people have the impression that pageants are all about looking good & knowing how to catwalk and answering questions intellectually.
Well, it ain't about that.
Apart from all the beauty stufflings like knowing your angles, etc etc, it's also about stage presence, networking and bonding with people.
I am one who isn't THAT good on stage. Lol.
I'll become very conscious of my surroundings & that ain't a good thing when you're on stage.
I am happy to say that I'm overcoming it bit by bit :)
I've also learnt how to network & talk to people more.
Somehow growing up in an environment where speaking up to people older than me is not encouraged is responsible for me not speaking much when it comes to adults.
It's good to know that I have gotten that out of my system :)
The rest of the things I learnt are more towards the entertainment world :)
I am thankful for all the great people I met & the things that I learnt :)

All in all, this pageant was a great experience :)

End of the year came & it was time for exams.

Oh, the joy of being a student. 

Exams didn't end till the 21st & didn't start till 14th December, a day after my birthday. 

So.. there goes everything. 

Celebrated it with Andrew on the 13th & Erina and Yen came over to surprise me lol. 

The best gift ever is the Guess bag that he bought me. 

After that, it was time for Christmas already and my, my, this year's Christmas shopping was crazy!

I only had 3 days to shop for everyone ! 

And it did not help that there were other things to be done too. 

I did it anyways. Kudos to me. 

But damn, it was tiring. 

Spent Christmas with the bestie in church :)

It's our tradition to do this & since she's leaving soon, this'll be our last Christmas together :(

He only came back on Boxing day & eversince he came back, man we spent a lot of time together for the next few days.

Spent New Year's Eve with a bunch of peeps. 

Was initially planning to celebrate it quietly with just the boy since he said it was significant to us because it was the day that we met. Oh well.

Had fun anyways. Lol.

That was how last year ended!

It's a new year now.

The year of 2013. 

2012 was crazy with 90 degree drops.

All the pain, all the tears, all the craziness & all the laughter.

It was really one heck of a year!

I'd very much love for this year to be less of a pain and less tears. 

Hopefully this year shall be a better year :)

Talks of limiting this blog to only a few people is now gone. 

It shall remain as it is. 

I have way too much to share than to just close it off lol. 

As for the other blog, it shall be up in no time :)

Things are on delay a little because heh, as I've mentioned earlier, been spending time with the boy =P

My plans should be up and running by February. 

I'm really looking forward to the blessings of 2013 despite the tough year ahead with thesis..

Haha, but that's life & life is meant to be lived!

As for resolutions, haha, I always make a list but in the end I won't even remember half of them! 

I actually didn't really make any this year lol. 

Because I realized I don't actually need a resolution to get certain things done lol!

If I were to make a resolution right now, I'd say that this year's resolution is to spend the days of 2013 productively :) 

Another one is to get rid of things that bring me down. 

That's about it. 

No long list nonsense awaits me =P

So decided to go to Gelare for some waffles since it was Tuesday =P

Had TWO waffles. 

Omg. I had no idea we were gonna order a second one.

Was sooooo fulll! 

A day before, we were at the same premises for the movie Piranha 3DD.

The piranhas look really ugly & haha, I personally don't like the movie. 

So don't waste your money watching it. Lol.

Watching Abaraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter would be worth the money.

Just watched this today with the boy :)

Damn this movie is awesome! 

Perfect combination of action & fantasy.

We both had dinner at a new place today. 

Manhattan Fish market :)

 We had our starter ; nachos and cheese .

Mmmm, they were delicious.

I kinda liked the cheese the way it was despite it being cold but he prefered it hot. Lol. 

Too bad the nachos weren't bottomless. 

After like 5 minutes of digging in the nachos, the main course came -_-

He was cutting the fish fillet for me hehehe, so sweet =3

The fish was awesome! 

Along with the fries with melted cheese on it. 

Mmm, yum yum. 

But I think the one at Betty's Midwest kitchen is better. I meant that fries LOL. 

After eating, walked around for a bit and ended the night with Moo Cow =3

Damn I feel like having it again now xD

Overall, dinner + dessert + the boy was BEYOND AWESOME!

I wouldn't mind going back to Manhattan Fish Market to try out other food on their menu :)

On another note, my babyboy decided to celebrate our 16th monthsary by getting me Pinky! :D

Let's just say if I was a guy, I'd start this post with some fictional story of how I picked a girl up with cheesy pick-up lines and stuff. 

Hahah. 

So, June is here already. How fast! 

HALF A YEAR IS GONE :O

To start off, June is kinda a month for celebration in my house.

A month full of birthdays really. 

Grandpa just celebrated his birthday on the 2nd of June :D

Happy ol' man :)

I'm still thinking of how to get him to stop smoking Lol. 

I must say that he hasn't really been smoking much these days which is a good sign :)

The next birthday celebration will be in two days time :) 

Dad's birthday :D And 20 days after dad's birthday is my brother's. LOL!

Basically, for me, it just means more nice food, cake and some activities =P

Still unsure of what to do though during my dad's birthday. 

As for cake, Imma be making cheesecake :D

Thinking of my cheesecake makes me hungry. 

Alright so besides celebrating, I have been out with the boy.

Eating waffles, watching movies and just hanging out. 

He recently discovered this new place to work out at. MuayFit or something. 

A place where you can work out and learn some martial arts stuff. 

I SWEAR HE WANTS TO USE IT ON ME!! :O

He even playfully tried some on me!!

LOL! I kid, bro. I kid. 

The price for that place is really cheap. 

Better then the gym man. 

Kinda got me thinking if I should join too.

Watched the Snow White & The Huntsman.

The whole movie is so-so. 

I find the the Queen was trying too hard to be dramatic. 

Actually you know what, I don't like this movie. 

I think animated fairytales should just remain as being animated. 

I wonder why they are remaking a lot of movies. 

Running out of ideas? 

Month of June, albeit the food and cake, I shall motivate myself to work out.

I've been wanting to work out since last month!

The problem here is that once I stop, it's damn hard to re-start =/

I don't know if it's a common problem or it's just me. 

But either way, I WILL START TODAY! RAWR!

Got to get back in shape!

Under The Sun, In The Waters !

The month of May is coming to an end & I haven't given my boy anything for our 15th monthsary.

Think I've mentioned that I was gonna bring him somewhere but I didn't disclose exactly where I was going to bring him hehe.

We celebrated our 15th monthsary in the car eating cake in Desa Park City.

Had three different cakes hehe. 

I just realized that he got me Russell Peters tickets AND 3 slices of cake. 

LOL. Naisee. 

Sooo, my gift was a 2D1N stay at Gold Coast Morib Resort ! :D 

Before this he was bugging me like a bug on where we're going and how much is it and shiz. 

No infos were given because hahahah, I just didn't wanna give him that info. 

I told him where we were going right before we push off hehe. 

Packed some McD & went off.

Some internal drama went on before we pushed off tho. 

Wish it didn't happen but oh wells.

Things went well after that so I guess it's okay.

It came with a private jacuzzi hehe.

And we headed straight to the water park!

Kinda small but the good thing was that it was almost like we had the whole place to ourselves =P

Totally a perfect place to be in since the weather these days are uncontrollably hot.

Syok sendiri-ed with a slide. 

Made up our own games and played it like a boss!

It was so intense that we both knocked our heads on each other's head. Haha. 

Think we spent like 30 minutes on that one slide itself LOL. 

Was in there for 2 hours pluss hehe. 

The area where the slide was was too shallow. 

So whenever we slid down the slides, my butt would hit the ground. 

My poor left butt cheek. 

So after playing around a couple of times, we had to rest. 

That's when I discovered that I injured my pinky finger. 

I've no idea what happened & how it happened. Haha. 

Water slides with the boy- Intense LOL! 

No pictures were taken cause it was only two of us & the camera was in the bag which was in the locker. 

We thought there would be no place to put stuff so we just brought in the necessary items. 

Man, we should have brought in the camera! 

Went and check out the beach but it sucked! 

I've never seen a beach that sucked this bad. 

I'll just leave it at that cuz I have no words that can describe how disappointed I am in the beach.

Since the beach was a no-no, we went back up to clean up & get ready for dinner :)

Buffet dinner was so-so. 

One bad thing was there were quite a number of flies. 

Had fun throwing jelly into the coffee =P

Later on, in the night, we went to the bar beside the beach to have a couple of drinks.

That was how the night ended :)

Now I shall let the pictures do some taking.

The live band there was playing some chinese slow shiz emo songs.

We were supposed to go back to the water park to play around one last time before going back but since my boy was injured, we decided not to.

So instead of going to the water park, we just chilled around & went to bed until it was time to checkout. 

Then we drove home & went to eat TC Mall for Sushi. 

Spontaneously decided to watch Men In Black 3 :D

Funny movie :) 

 Went home after that & finally, he opened all his stars! 

Now I can make progress to the project :)

That sums up what happened the last two days :)

Really hope he enjoyed the trip tho it was short.

Just Another Day ?

Back to back classes, 3 hours each. 

Draggg. 

On a Monday. 

Even draggier. LOL.

Just finished mah first class for today and gosh, I was trying so hard to stay awake. 

I had about8 hours of sleep. 

Guess that ain't enough for me =X

Wanted to wake early to pain my nails but ended up lazing around in bed for too long. LOL.

Maybe I should just give up on painting my nails until Nat has the time to do it xD

So anyways, since my license is already expired, Erina drove me to uni.

Wanted to get Ochado before going to uni BUT they haven't officially opened. 

PFT. How can you not open when you say you're opening today on Facebook? 

Zzzzz. Kena con. Parked the car & got down only to find that it wasn't ready for sales. 

Oh wells. 

So many things opening in Ss2.

Neway's also opening soon. HAHAH.

All so near my place.

Gonna be friggin' good for some destressing xD

Is the first day of class significant? 

Well in terms of choosing your electives, sitting in for the classes beforehand is helpful.

To know how the course is structured is also very important. 

Yeahp yeahp yeahp. It is useful :)

Besides the fact that first class and first day are important and useful, today happens to be a special day for me. 

It's the 15th month of being together with my boy.

Now I doubt there'll be anything goin' on today because we both have uni until 6 LOL.

Oh wells. 

Aights, gotta run now for my next class.

Another End & A Fresh Start

Today's officially the last day of my break.

I start class tomorrow :(

2 weeks is so not enough to cross off all the the things on my to-do list. 

I still have lots to do & my holiday isn't really a holiday. 

Was out and about doing some photoshoot & videoshoot. LOL.

Not to forget, I also spent a lot of time with the boy which was awesome!

Felt like the old days except that this time we didn't really have new places to go. 

Lost the list of things to do together already since some of it was done individually. Oh wells. 

My list consists of :

-Blog

-Photoshoot

-Videoshoot

-Sign up for subjects

-Project Starry Eyes

-Art & Craft Creations

-Clean my room

-Read a good book

-Hang out with the boy

-Catch up on my sleep

-Read ahead for social psych

-Put on weight

Out of those only a few were actually done. LOL. 

My room is still as messy.

I haven't got any time to read because I have early mornings and late nights.

In between, I spend my time with my boy. 

Project Starry Eyes gotta be put on hold since he hasn't opened all his stars. 

Art & craft creations , ahah , no time. 

As for sleep, hahah, I thought I was gonna pig it out but noooo, each morning I gotta wake up early D:

But it's okay lah I guess. 

At least, half the things are done. 

Since my schedule isn't that hectic, I think I should be able to divide my time. 

The only getaway that I had was the Malacca eating trip. 

Andrew, me, Chris, Beatrice, Erina, Hansel, YuenLing, YeeEn & Chika :)

Honestly 2D1N is damn bloody short. LOL. 

But fuh, the bungalow that we stayed in was awesomeness. 

Nice & Clean & Spacious! 

The only bad thing about the place was that the gate is not automatic. 

Ate like crazy & sweat like crazy.

I'm damn lazy to post up all the food pictures so Imma just post up the last dishes that we had.

Omgah, the laksa there was damn good as well. 

Usually I don't take laksa but fuhh, this one was irresistible! 

The crepe cake there was also nice. 

A lot of flavours :)

Basically, the trip was just full of eating. LOL.

I managed to put on at least 1kg :)

Another event that went down before this Malacca eating trip was Erina's birthday party.

I'm still waiting for the video so I'm not gonna blog about it just yet :)

All in all, I guess my holiday was pretty okay. 

Could have been better but I'm satisfied. 

Tomorrow's the first day of class & omgah, thank God it starts at 12noon. hehe.

13 Months & Still Counting ♥

14th of March marks the 13th month of being together :)

We are now a year and a month old. 

Kinda doesn't feel like it. 

Feels like more than a year xD

Goes to show how much we know about each other and how much the relationship actually matured. Lol. 

Before getting into the deep thoughts and all, I'll start with how we celebrated it. 

Well eversince he started his course, the chances of us spending a whole day together are pretty low. 

Nevertheless, the 6 hours we spent together yesterday was enough to celebrate & have a good time :)

He picked me up from my place and we flew over to One Utama. 

We were sorta like stuck at one point due to the mini jam & I told him that we could have actually used the other way to get to the parking without having to jam with the others. 

He replied with this, "I wanna get stuck in the jam to spend time in the car with you ma." 

Awwww, sucha cutie pie ;)

Bought movie tickets & went to eat our dinner at Sakae Sushi. 

It's funny how we decided to eat there. 

A habit of his is that he'll ask me what I want to eat and he'll give me that face with that smile waiting to hear me say "Sushi". LOL. 

Sometimes we even toss the question to each other. LOL. 

You find it ridiculous, we find it hilarious ;)

Got to use the so called vouchers, woohoo! :D
Still got about 8 more? lol.

Wheee, so the reason why he brought me to One Utama was because I said I wanted to go shopping.

Awww, how thoughtful of him :)

Bought a pair of jeans & two Sloggi undies :D

Just because I had the Jusco vouchers =P

Hohoho, here comes the awesome part of the day. 

HE GAVE ME RM100 TO SPEND IN CANDYLICIOUS ! =O

THE HOUSE FULL OF CANDIES & CHOCOLATES!!!

I was stunned really. Lol.

This is the last picture that we took since our movie was gonna start like in 10minutes? Lol. 

Snuck in the popcorn and water bottle. LIKEABOSS!

Watched The Lorax :)

It's a pretty meaningful movie. 

And gosh I LOVE the trees! :D 

They look so fluffy & colourful! :D 

Hehe. 

And wheeee, the animals that live there love marshmellows just like me! =P

And so that was how the night ended for us :)

So back to where I left off about the relationship maturing. 

It started off pretty smooth and later on the ride got a little bumpy. 

I think it went into a bit of a roller coaster mode at one point. Lol. 

But I know I wouldn't change a thing even if I had the chance to. 

We have now reached the point where we are both more matured than before. 

Maybe it comes with age. 

Or maybe we just unconsciously decided that we shouldn't waste time arguing.

Probably a combination of many things. Lol. 

Like I said earlier, ever since he started his course, we haven't exactly spend as much time as before. 

The days where he would come and see me everyday. 

We would either hang out or like study or something. 

It didn't matter what we were going to do, as long as we were together.

I've always LOVED how he made time for me and how we would try spending time as much as we can. 

I guess you could say that we were spending time with each other as tho as the world was gonna end tomorrow kinda thing. 

It's damn fun. 

We would do the stupidest thing and laugh about it. 

We'd tease each other, call each other names and tickle each other. 

Heck, we used to wrestle :O

The good old days where we were both damn free. 

Of course things had to change as nothing in the world is constant except change. 

So yeah, he's busier & I'm getting busier as well. 

I guess our days of fooling around and being stupid is kinda over ?

Maybe we're over some kind of phase or smth. 

I mean like back then we used to spam each other's wall like crazy & now it kinda looks empty =/ 

Oh wells. 

Changes, changes, changes.

I guess I've become more reserved. Lol. 

I mean like that's what my counselor said. 

And hmm, right now, I guess I am more determined to chase my dreams ;)

Also, not forgetting that I have learnt to think about myself more than before. 

You see, the problem with overly empathetic people is that they think about how other people feel more than their own. 

I have that problem. 

I can think about myself and get what I want but after I get it, I would feel damn bad. 

Just like the recent increase in my pocket money. 

So yeah, thinking about yourself is necessary to a certain extent.

Another thing I ought to thank Andrew for is the strategy to argue.

I have really learnt ALOT in that particular area ;)

To have a base & proof is a solid argument. HAHA. 

Hmm how else have I changed. . . 

OH I know! 

These are kinda bad tho. 

My temper issues are coming back =/

And my patience is running out =O

I'm in deep shit. 

I'm not the only one who changed. 

My other half changed as well. 

I guess in a way, he is more responsible. 

There's still room for improvement tho =P

Also, I think he is not that impulsive.

To be fair, we're both not that impulsive anymore. 

CELEBRATION TIME COME ON ~~ LOLOL. 

Althought he can sometimes lose his mind, he is thoughtful . 

His thoughtfulness has been one of the most consistent behaviour :)

So at the end of the day, we both have influence on the changes that take place. 

And that's what a relationship is about. 

To individually change to become a better person together, side by side.

For support, courage and love to carry on with life. 

That's what I think. 

I can't say that this is what he thinks too because different people have different opinion. 

Hmm I wonder how he sees it. Lol. 

And I, will never have enough doses of him, EVER. 

When it comes to him, I am the most selfish & greedy person on earth =P

Heh, can't help it.
